ENGEES form for over 50 years the engineers in the fields of water and overall services and projects on the environment.
It hosts hundreds of young people per year, from preparatory classes for the grandes écoles, or particularly motivated from BTS and short university courses.
Whether by way of alternation in business partners or student status with an important place given to projects and internships, everything is made to ensure the employability of engineers. For this, the support of faculty from three research laboratories (mechanical and environmental hydrology and water chemistry, water management and waste in the territories), throughout the research and training of University of Strasbourg, is complemented by the intervention of professionals from businesses and communities.
ENGEES promotes open international students on the one hand through foreign language courses and lessons taught in English, and also giving them the opportunity to conduct an experiment of several months in internationally in the form of courses, conducted a third year in a foreign university partner can lead to a double degree in the specific agreements or a gap year.
In terms of international ENGEES is very active and participates in the ERASMUS European network since 2003. Through relationships with the University of Strasbourg, she participates in the network EUCOR, Confederation of Upper Rhine Universities 5 (Basel, Freiburg, Mulhouse, Strasbourg, Karlsruhe) and the Convention CREPUQ (Conference of Rectors and Presidents of Universities of Quebec ). Erasmus students and EUCOR are hosted in the engineering training ENGEES.
Finally, the school responded to the tender ARFITEC on engineering student exchanges between Argentina and France and participated in the project CAFFIMA (Cooperation Argentina - France for the Training of Engineers Environment and water ). She has partnered with the Institute of Agronomy and Veterinary Hassan II in Rabat, Morocco, and another with the Malagasy government.
